In addition to our services related to noise, vibration, and shadow flicker, at Acústica Austral we incorporate active noise control technologies to complement traditional noise mitigation solutions. The first line we have added to our portfolio is ZeroSound, an active noise control (ANC) platform for industrial sources.
Active Noise Control (ANC)
Traditional acoustic mitigation solutions (barriers, enclosures, etc.) are effective but fixed: once built, they are costly to modify or relocate. Active noise control uses panels with sensors and digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms that generate real-time cancellation waves, creating targeted zones of silence around the source, without the need for permanent civil works.
ZeroSound: zones of silence for industrial sources
ZeroSound Systems is a Canadian company specializing in active noise control for industrial sources. Acústica Austral is its representative in Chile. Its platform combines modular ANC panels with AI-assisted DSP algorithms to suppress industrial noise in real time, forming adaptable «zones of silence» that can extend more than 500 meters per panel, targeting the most problematic frequencies (60–2000 Hz).
