The equipment is isolated with springs and the vibration still shows up. The path left open is the pipework: a rigid bridge that carries vibration from the equipment into the structure and cancels the isolation just paid for.
The solution
Safeflex flexible connectors in peroxide-cured EPDM reinforced with Kevlar, the result of twenty years of development against elastomer failure from high-temperature fluids. Their partitioned flange system prevents blow-off under burst pressures.

Which requirement does it help you meet?
They are part of the same design under ASHRAE and NCh 3357:2015. Equipment mounted on isolators needs its connections to follow the movement; rigid pipework transfers stress into the equipment during an earthquake and can damage it even where the isolator performs.
